I have spent the last few weeks thinking about this movie. My goal was to write something poignant about it, but the movie itself is so poignant that if poignancy is the point, then you can just watch the movie.
I have come to realize that there is a genre of movie that I absolutely love. It’s not just Noir Detective or Dark Comedy, (although I do really love those genres) but it’s “poor/working class woman survives the bullshit.”
I have a tendency to doubt myself.
